Diogenes, was a beggar who made his home in the streets of Athens. He is said to have lived in a large tub, rather than a house, and to have walked through the streets carrying a lamp in the daytime, claiming to be looking for an honest man. (If you can't see the picture on the right, double click the title)I don't mean to be cynical, but perhaps the modern equivalent of Diogenes is our Presient, Barack Obama, trying to sort through the lobbyists, tax dodgers, and other criminals of Washington DC. trying to find members for his cabinet. From the looks of things, our President may need a better lamp. Say goodnight, Tom Daschle.
